Found Ruth's music on FB and as there was an offer of free music I downloaded a track. As I was playing it for the first time I was so blown away with it I had ordered the EP before the track had finished. All the tracks are haunting and thought provoking and my favorite? Depends on my mood - Somehow is more reflective, Without You is up beat and Pale Moonlight is apt as I'm a HGV driver and see a lot of pale moonlight nights. What was the track I downloaded for free - Like I Do. Ruth's music is heartfelt and honest and I look forward to more in the future. Bob
The title I have given (Fantastic music), is the answer my 8 year old granddaughter gave to Ruth's music. I can honestly say that hits all the age ranges.
I downloaded the free tracks initially and quickly followed it up with the purchase of the cd.
Ruth's music is lovely to listen to. I would recommend that you download the free tracks and then you too will be buying the cd.

From the first note sometimes you can tell the singer has something Really Special! Ruth's music has a Special Power of Purity, Tone, Emotional Resonance and an Atmospheric Quality to Spirit you away and hold you in a Protective Bubble of Excellent Happiness ! I liken it to what the Spanish Flamenco Players call 'Duende!'
I love the fact that Ruth is a 'Story Teller' & all her songs have Backstories. I know from her stories she has suffered greatly & what is amazing is that the emotion is turned into positivity, hope and inspiration. It is obvious she has a great Passion for Music & a Generous Giving Spirit.
I'm sure that her music will be so popular & I'm looking forward to more. The CD 'Introducing Ruth Nina Welsh' is such a Treasure & exactly what we need to uplift our spirits at the moment. I can't recommend this CD highly enough & can honestly say it has changed my life for good!
